Junior Designer

ROLE

We are looking for a full-time Junior Designer to join a team of creative designers, artists and illustrators in our NYC office. You need to be a creative thinker who has strong concepting skills to develop pixel perfect, well-crafted final design. Reporting directly to Creative Director, your responsibilities include working on multiple design projects for clients, brainstorming and researching campaign concepts, and working closely with other team members to pitch ideas.

EXPERIENCE

• A Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited college or university in Graphic Design, Visual Design, Multimedia Design, or related field.
• A minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience, preferably within an advertising or design agency environment.
• Portfolio showcasing your design skills and expertise across all platforms.
• Excellent proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite software, including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
• Strong interest in art direction, packaging design, typography, web design and animation.
• Out-of-the-box mindset and creative thinking to solve problems.
• Be able to juggle multiple deadlines and work independently or together in a team.
• Solid work ethic, attention to detail and time management.
• Working knowledge of photography and social media are a huge plus.

ADDITIONAL

• Bonus points for basic HTML and CSS knowledge.
• Great attitude and interpersonal skills – a good sense of humor is a plus!
