Design Intern

ROLE

We are looking for a full-time Design Intern to join a team of creative designers, artists and illustrators in our NYC office. You will gain hands-on experience with real client projects and develop important skills in art & design, brainstorming, creative thinking and time management. Intern must be available for 3 months and able to commit to a full-time internship of 40 hours per week. A MetroCard will be issued to cover travel expenses.

EXPERIENCE

• Be in pursuit of a degree in Graphic Design or other design-related field.
• Prior internship experience within a creative agency environment is preferred.
• Portfolio showcasing your design skills and expertise across all platforms.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite software, including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
• Strong interest in art direction, packaging design, typography, web design and animation.
• Out-of-the-box mindset and creative thinking to solve problems.
• Be able to juggle multiple deadlines and work independently or together in a team.
• Solid work ethic, attention to detail and time management.
• Working knowledge of photography and social media are a huge plus.

ADDITIONAL

• Bonus points for basic HTML and CSS knowledge.
• Great attitude and interpersonal skills – a good sense of humor is a plus!
